SUPPORT AROUND DEATH

Getting Bereavement Right Every Time

Bereavement Learning Session

16/01/26

There is still time to sign up to attend a virtual training event on Thursday 26th February, 13:00-15:00 which is relevant to all health and social care staff. Come along to gain more confidence in knowing how to respond to people who are bereaved who we meet in the course of our work.

What is covered in the session.

  • What should I say to someone who tells me they have been bereaved recently?
  • Are there any particular words I should or shouldn’t use?
  • What if I say the ‘wrong’ thing?
  • Is it normal to be upset if someone we know from work dies?

Previous attendees have said “Useful, interesting and thought provoking” and “A very informative session”.
