Expanding the Language of Grief: Working with Bereaved Youth with Disabilities

How do we support young people with disabilities through grief?

Join Jennifer Wiles, Director of HEARTplay and Camp Erin Boston, as she explores essential concepts about disabilities and grief, including managing expectations, the role of caregivers, a neurodiverse approach to grief and best practices in supporting young people of all abilities and their families who are grieving.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to practice some accessible activities that use expressive art therapies for neurodiverse young people who are grieving.
