Living with Grief: An educational film for Healthcare Professionals 

A film is being developed by the NES Bereavement team and members of the NHS Board Bereavement Strategic Leads & Coordinators Network which will be launching soon. This provides guidance for healthcare staff on how to provide emotional and practical support to those who are experiencing bereavement while maintaining their own wellbeing. 

The film will cover a range of topics including:

• Acknowledging your feelings
• Taking time for yourself
• Supporting each other
• Speaking honestly
• Helping with practicalities
• Signposting to other support
• Thinking about other patients
