A Bereavement Charter for Children and Adults in Scotland
Scotland's first Bereavement Charter for Children and Adults continues to be developed by a coalition of individuals and organisations including NES. The group has progressed a number of new areas as below:
An updated edition of the Charter Guidance Notes edited and revised by subject experts which includes 2 new sections on 'Remote & Rural considerations' & 'Sudden & Traumatic Death'
Development of a hints & tips guide for organisations using the Charter which is currently being piloted in Inverclyde
A poster displayed at the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care’s Autumn Season Virtual Poster Exhibition
Collaborative working with colleagues in Northern Ireland on the development of their own Charter
Raising awareness via webinars, social media, a workshop at the 2022 Festival of Learning and meetings with MSPs
