Supporting children who are bereaved during and after the COVID-19 pandemic

In this webinar Donna Hastings (Family Support Worker, St Columba's Hospice) & Dr Catriona MacPherson (Children and Families Practitioner, Fife Specialist Palliative Care) discussed how children and young people who are bereaved have been impacted by COVID-19, specifically addressing changes and lessons learnt from the pandemic. They reviewed the impact of having been bereaved during the pandemic and the effect of e.g. visiting and funeral restrictions. Additionally, they addressed how children who are bereaved may be dealing with the situation and specific ways to support them.
