09/11/20

Denisha Killoh, the Project Lead has provided the following summary of the project and for further information you can sign up to their e-Newsletter here

"Includem were awarded the contract to deliver the National Childhood Bereavement Coordinator project by the Scottish Government. It is the role of the Coordinator to review and advise on steps to improve the capacity of the sector to meet the needs of all children and young people who experience bereavement, as and when they need.

The project has a remit to cover the whole of Scotland with the work spanning a number of policy areas. This is including, but not limited to, children and families, people with care experience, youth justice, health and education.

To meaningfully build on the incredible work currently delivered by individuals and organisations in the sector, we are actively seeking the views of anyone with a professional interest or personal experience of childhood bereavement.”
