The University of Oxford Centre for Suicide Research has recently published a resource for dealing with deaths of patients by suicide. If a patient dies by suicide: A Resource for Psychiatrists provides information about dealing with suicide for psychiatrists of all levels.

It was produced by a multidisciplinary group of clinicians and researchers, all of whom have experienced deaths of patients by suicide during their careers. It is endorsed by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
