The Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care have announced a conference to take place Thursday 2nd May 2019, at the Renfield St Stephen Centre, Glasgow. The day-long conference, entitled 'Unleashing Compassion: communities innovating and supporting through death, dying and bereavement', is themed around the encouragement of open and supportive attitudes and approaches around death, dying and bereavement in Scotland. The day is due to feature the launch of two national initiatives: the Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief Compassionate Communities Toolkit and SPPC's Connecting Compassion project.
