Hospice UK and Sue Ryder have released a joint report this month, outlining the findings of their research into bereavement support in Scotland. The report's topics include detailing the proportion of people who have been bereaved that desired additional support, how many were able to access it, and how satisfied they were with the results. It further offers conclusions on how Scotland can improve its standards of care for the bereaved, particularly in light of its finding that the most socially isolated respondents had the most difficult time accessing support services.
