Getting Bereavement Right Every Time Learning Session

Registration is now open! Wednesday 11th June 1-3pm

All health and social care staff are likely to come into contact with someone who is bereaved, or a situation around the time of a person’s death.

This session offers a gentle and practical introduction to the topics of grief and bereavement. Through animated short films, key insights, and takeaway messages, our speakers will help you feel more confident and prepared when supporting individuals who are grieving.

We’ll explore common questions, such as:

  • What should I say to someone who’s bereaved?
  • Are there words or phrases I should avoid?
  • What if I say the ‘wrong’ thing?

Whether you’re new to this subject or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will provide valuable tools to navigate these sensitive conversations with empathy and care.
