The Royal Society of Medicine are running a new palliative care webinar series, 'The human side of COVID-19: Reflections on Palliative Care'. Join them on Wednesday 16th September at 7pm for episode 3, 'Grief: The Shadow Pandemic'

In this webinar, experts will discuss dealing with death and grief in the context of the COVID-19 as a mass bereavement situation. This webinar allows delegates to explore how services can be enhanced to meet the increased bereavement experiences, and to recognise that understanding the current context of grief can allow for better patient care.

The webinar will allow participants to:

- Understand how the grieving process will have been impacted by lockdown measures.

- Be able to understand the implications of increased mortality rates seen in more vulnerable demographic groups.

- Consider how lockdown restrictions impact on the grieving process
