The NES Confirmation of Death working group has developed a set of national resources including a short film which is now available as a learning resource. 

This short film shows a practitioner undertaking the essential clinical examination procedure required to confirm death in Scotland. It also includes an outline of the responsibilities of the practitioner in relation to communication, documentation and referral. The procedure is aligned to the agreed Confirmation of Death documentation.
