Cruse Bereavement Care's 'You Behind the Uniform' programme is offering to organise a free one-day training course for those working in emergency services or other acute healthcare environments where death and grief are commonly encountered. The course is designed to provide healthcare staff with tools and resources to help them manage grief and bereavement in their roles, and an understanding of what support they, their colleagues, and patients' friends and family members may require around bereavement.

Trainers are COSCA validated and qualified, and the course programme has been accredited for 7 CPD points. Training is offered both on site or at an external venue as required. The funded programme can also cover the course's venue hire, trainer fees and refreshments, but extends to March 2020 only.
