NHS Education for Scotland encourages all health and social care staff (including specialist and generalist, clinical and non clinical staff, who may be involved in the care of, or come into contact with, people with palliative and end of life care needs, their family and carers) to complete a learning needs survey as below

This survey is one part of a learning needs assessment across the workforce, and NHS Education for Scotland are also gathering information through focus groups and staff engagement about existing skills and knowledge in the workforce, the extent and value of current learning and the opportunities for collaborative working and learning, to help support the creation of an educational framework that will ensure the views of staff are captured.
