These will include a National Conference on Funeral Poverty which is being held on Wednesday 16 November in Edinburgh. This is an open conference for all interested in the funeral payment and funeral poverty.

A consultation on social security, including funeral payments, in Scotland will close on Friday 28^th October. This will help to shape Scotland’s first ever Social Security Bill. There are a variety of ways in which you can complete the consultation. You can view and respond online here or if you are unable to respond online, you will find a copy of an Answer Booklet, along with the Respondent Information Form here.
