Includem are inviting adults with experience of working with children and young people (under the age of 25) who have been bereaved across Scotland to take part in roundtable discussions. These discussions will advance the work of the includem National Childhood Bereavement Coordinator Project who will inform their recommendations to the Scottish Government.

There will be two online sessions, one on 28/06/21 and one on 05/07/21, both held via Zoom. Across these two sessions, they'll be exploring a set of key questions to understand how training and education can play a part in a young person’s journey through grief.

Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions as each one will be exploring different aspects of the topic. There will also be a final session (TBC) to provide an opportunity to sense check the draft recommendations to Scottish Government. Pre-session materials and the agenda will be sent out beforehand to ensure you are prepared for the discussions.

The Training & Education’ discussions will be jointly planned and facilitated by Denisha Killoh (Project Lead) and David Duncan (Teacher and Doctorate of Education Student, University of Strathclyde).
